The organisation received a bus worth $21,397 to assist people who are frail aged or disabled or carers to remain living indepen- dently in their own homes. The Royal Flying Doctors outback trek is an annual rally through outback communi- ties. The trek raises money for replacement aircraft, and received $6000 from the club. Young families benefited when Touched by Olivia Foundation received $10,000 to help build an all-abilities playground at Timbrell Park, Five Dock, in partnership with Canada Bay Council. Computer Pals for seniors earnt $1800 to buy computers to help seniors with disabilities. The Ella Community Centre was given $6000 to help pay for running costs for its community bus to help the frail aged or people a disability. Centacare Catholic Community received $5600 to provide assistance and training for 120 disadvantaged Year 12 students across 10 Canada Bay high schools.
