The firefighters volunteered through the production and sale of the calendar. About 1000 children undergo treatment in the unit every year. Learn self-defence WOMEN'S self-defence courses begin on Saturday, February 7, at the Drummoyne Senior Citizens Club at Five Dock. Each course will run for one hour per week over eight weeks. Mr Boyce was recognised for being an active member of the community over the last three decades, including being a member and chairman of Strathfield Council's Olympic Initiatives Committee and being an active member and elder of the Strathfield Uniting Church. Jamal was recognised for her academic achievements at Santa Sabina College, as well as taking part in various community initiatives, including International Day for People with a Disability and the Unicef Youth Forum 2008.
