Picture: PHIL BLATCH ~PP270693 THE only sport on Todd Considine's mind is AFL and it's no surprise he wants to make it as a pro one day. The 15-year-old started kick- ing the Sherrin at the tender age of five and, while most kids never agree their parents, Considine is grateful they put him on to AFL. ''My parents were brought up in Melbourne and I was raised in an AFL family, so I just loved the sport too,'' Considine said. This is the first year Considine has been playing for Sydney University's under-18s and he's cherished every moment. ''It's really good because we've got great facilities and we have two coaches who can teach you a lot,'' the Haberfield teenager said. Considine said he looks up to his coaches, Tim Barling and Rod Carter, who both played fullback for the Sydney Swans. ''They have taught me a lot -- I wasn't playing too well and they taught me a lot of skills that I never had before,'' he said. Just like his dad, Considine backs AFL premiers Hawthorne, and particularly hopes to follow in idol Trent Croad's footsteps. ''They are my dad's childhood team and I was brought up to love them,'' Considine said. ''But Trent Croad, he is a really good player and I hope to play professional one day be- cause it's just been a dream of mine. ''It's always been my passion.''
