More than 500 students filled the Summer Hill school's hall and waited in anticipation for 20-year-old Perth rock singer Claire Clark to make her way on stage. ''When I first came on stage and put my drink down they were all like 'Claire', so that was really cool, they were every excited to see a girl,'' Claire said. ''They were moshing and were just screaming my name it was just crazy.'' Claire has been on tour with Rock The Schools for three weeks and it was her first time performing in front of an all-boys school. She performed songs from her debut album Unhinged, including her newly- released single Shut Your Mouth. The tour will visit 70 high schools to educate students about the music industry. Students also got the chance to take part in a workshop which included tour and band management, sound and audio engin- eering and what it takes to be in a band. Year 12 Rock the Schools student liaison Andrew Kha said the school had been looking forward to the concert. ''It was good with a lot of energy and I think the younger kids especially got really into it,'' Andrew said.
