TO celebrate the fifth birthday of the Kids in the Park school holiday program, Sydney Olympic Park is asking kids to replace beanies with boardies next Tuesday. There will be a massive kids' indoor pool party. From 9.30am to 12.30pm at Splashers Water Playground at the Aquatic Centre, the pool party will provide mega fun for families. Admission is free by downloading an official invitation from www.sydneyolympic park.com.au and presenting it at the door. Olympic swimming medallist Geoff Huegill and players from the NSW Swifts netball team will appear. With water slides, jets and cannons, a huge dumping bucket, a bubble beach and a river rapids ride, Splashers Water Playground is a comfortable 26C. There'll also be loads of party games and fairy cakes for every guest. Each child will go home with a free party bag of goodies. Attendees are asked to make a gold coin donation to support children's charity Variety Australia.
