Humphrey B Bear STRATHFIELD Spring Fair is set to be bigger than ever this year. Get set to party on Sunday when Strathfield Council will host its annual Spring Fair at Strathfield Park. Last year's fair was a great success that attracted more than 18,000 visitors from all over Sydney and is the council's largest community event of the year. This year's fair will be a carbon neutral event with the help of lighting store, Todae. It will feature more than 100 stalls including food from around the world, environmentally- friendly products, community groups, fashion and gifts. There will be something for everyone including free carnival rides, free pony rides, an animal farm, a Kidz Zone tent and roving entertainers. Centre stage will feature Channel 9's most lovable bear, Humphrey B Bear, as well as a variety of live entertainment including FABBA, an ABBA-style tribute band, juggler Rick Allison, Horns Plus Big Band, the Leaping Loonies, ventriloquist Michael Fox, and local performers. Also not to be missed is the sheep-shearing and whip-cracking demonstrations. There will also be a great line-up of children's entertainment and activities including the Giggalees, roving clowns, and children will have an opportunity to make their own drum at the free drum making workshop. The Spring Fair will run from 10am to 6pm. A free return shuttle bus service will operate between Strathfield, Homebush and Flemington Stations and Strathfield Park.
